Hillbilly Rockstarz will perform at the village of Orland Park’s Centennial Park West from 4-6 p.m. Sept. 2.
Located in the Collette Highlands subdivision, Centennial Park West is at Park Station Boulevard and Somer Glen Lane near 159th Street and 108th Avenue. Free parking is available in the adjacent Metra parking lot.
“We’ve had a great response to the free concerts that the village has hosted at Centennial Park West,” said Orland Park Mayor Dan McLaughlin, one of the sponsors of the concert.
“The City Lights Orchestra performed during our July 4 festivities both this year and last, and we’re looking forward to hosting a country and western concert during the Labor Day weekend.”
Hillbilly Rockstarz was named as a premier top 40 country band by the country radio station WUSN-FM (99.5).
The band has been entertaining fans in the Midwest for years with musical selections ranging from contemporary hits to older classics and rock tunes.
The group’s Orland Park debut will include hits by Little Big Town, Miranda Lambert, Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, Sara Evans, Billy Currington, Carrie Underwood, Lady Antebellum, Big & Rich, Taylor Swift, Keith Urban and Gretchen Wilson.
“We invite everyone to bring their picnics, blankets, lawn chairs and snacks to Centennial Park West,” said Trustee Pat Gira, chair of the village’s Recreation and Parks Committee.
“It promises to be a great evening of outstanding country music.”
Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant will have beverages available for purchase at the concert.
The event is co-sponsored by several others including the Aileen S. Andrew Foundation and Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant.
