Made-for-TV Christmas cartoons have been a fixture of the season for 50 years now. The first one ever made, “Mr. Magoo’s Christmas Carol,” debuted in 1962 and returns to network TV next month to mark the anniversary. Here’s when you can see it, along with the other specials it spawned, some favorite holiday movies (with their release dates) and a few new arrivals.
