Dickover deployed overseas

Air Force Tech. Sgt. Scott E. Dickover has deployed overseas to a forward operating base to serve in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

Dickover is a helicopter flightline expediter assigned to the 723rd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron at Moody Air Force Base, Ga. Dickover has served in the military for 14 years.

Dickover is the son of Robert and Patricia L. Dickover, of Crete. He is a 1997 graduate of Bloom Trail High School in Chicago Heights.

Soto completes training

Air Force Airman Jose A. Soto graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.

Soto is the son of Vera Soto, of Calumet City.

Lovett graduates basic training

Air Force Airman 1st Class Jacqueline F. Lovett graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.

Lovett is the granddaughter of Tommie Lovett, of Robbins, and the sister of Carol Martinez, of Alsip. She is a 2011 graduate of Shepard High School in Palos Heights.

Lordo graduates basic training

Air Force Airman Jake A. Lordo graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.

Lordo is the son of Anthony Lordo, of Evergreen Park. He is a 2011 graduate of Evergreen Park Community High School.

Williams promoted

Steven Williams, of Alsip, recently was promoted to the rank of Navy Petty Officer. He is stationed at Naval Base Coronado in San Diego, Calif.

Williams is the son of Robert and Susan Williams, of Alsip. He graduated in 2004 from Shepard High School and entered the military in 2009.
