Lewis University

Marc Denson, of Bridgeview, is a disc jockey for the Lewis University WLRA radio station in Romeoville. Denson recently participated in the “To Kill a DJ” marathon fundraiser, which raised more than $6,100 for Family Assistance Fund for Advocate Hope Children’s Hospital in Oak Lawn.

Nicholas Cozzolino and Courtny Yanowsky, both of Homer Glen; and Natalie Horath, of Oak Forest; were among several applied sociology students from Lewis University in Romeoville who recently raised money to fill 30 backpacks with school supplies for the Angels R Watching Foundation.

Illinois State University

Jamie Clark, of Frankfort, has been selected as a 2012 Business Week Mentor at Illinois State University in Normal, Ill. Clark is involved in Peer Leadership Team, the Alternative Spring Break program, Phi Sigma Sigma, Leader Shape Institute and Leaders of Social Change. She was also chosen as one of the McLean County 25 Under 25 during Global Youth Service Day.

Arizona State University

Michael Skarbek, of Orland Park, has been named to the fall 2011 semester dean’s list at the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University in Tempe, Ariz.
