Gosnell graduates basic training

Air Force Airman James M. Gosnell graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.

Gosnell is the son of Marina Tobias, of Plainfield. He is a 2009 graduate of Sandburg High School in Orland Park.

Rivera completes basic training

Army National Guard Spc. Andrew Rivera has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson in Columbia, S.C.

Rivera is the son of Gabriela Rivera, of Chicago. He is a 2008 graduate of George Washington High School.
