OAK FOREST
City to host garage sale
Oak Forest will host its Citywide Garage Sale from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and Saturday throughout the town.

RICHTON PARK
Library to host anime event
Richton Park Public Library, 4045 Sauk Trail, will host an anime convention for teens and adults from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
The event will feature films, video games, card games and other anime-related activities. Registration is required.

ORLAND PARK
Village to host Earth Day event
Homer Glen will host its Earth Day/Arbor Day Celebration from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Konow Farm, 16849 S. Cedar Road, Homer Glen.
The event will include a petting zoo, antique cars, pony rides, food, live demonstrations, an “earth-friendly” marketplace and other activities.

Library to offer online dating event
Oak Lawn Public Library, 9427 S. Raymond Ave., will host “Online Dating 101” from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday. The cost is $6, and registration is required.

CHICAGO RIDGE
Pet resort to host open house
Pawsitively Heaven Pet Resort, 10051 S. Kitty Ave., Chicago Ridge, will host an open house from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday.
Hot dogs, Sno-cones and other refreshments will be served. The event also will feature seminars and training demonstrations.
