Sporting goods drive ends Friday

The South–Southwest Suburban United Way and the SouthtownStar are holding a sporting goods drive through Nov. 30.
Donations for the inaugural “Healthy Kids Sporting Goods Drive” will support United Way’s community-impact plan, LIVE UNITED 2020, to ensure Southland families have the education, income and health resources they need.
Items can be dropped off from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily through Nov. 30 at the South-Southwest Suburban United Way, 4747 Lincoln Mall Drive, Suite 405, Matteson; the SouthtownStar, 18312 S. West Creek Drive, Tinley Park; or the Crestwood Rec Center, 5331 W. 135th St., Crestwood.
