Pet service collecting cat, dog food

Updated: January 5, 2013 6:11AM

Yes! Yes! Good Dog!, a new dog walking, training and pet-sitting service in Plainfield, is hosting the local Hungry Bowl Pet Food Drive to benefit the homeless pets of the Will County Humane Society.

The drive is part of an international effort spearheaded by Pet Sitters International — the world’s largest association for professional pet sitters — to collect pet food for shelters everywhere. Yes! Yes! Good Dog! is organizing local pet food drives through Dec. 12.

“All dogs are good dogs. It’s just a matter of bringing out the best in each pup,” said Robyn Monaghan, owner of Yes! Yes! Good Dog!. The new pet service specializes in the “train ’n’ walk,” which pairs all-positive training methods with daily dog walking.

Donations of cat food, dog food and kitty litter can be dropped off at Kin-Ko Ace Hardware, 24604 W. Lockport St., Plainfield; Bella’s Family Pet Grooming and Boutique, 765 E. Boughton Road, Bolingbrook; and Animal Clinic of Romeoville, 334 N Independence Blvd Suite B, Romeoville.

For information, contact Monaghan at 815-600-2107 or yesyesgooddog@gmail.com. The website is yesyesgooddog.com.
