Church to host blood drive
St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 330 Highland Drive, Chicago Heights, will host a community blood drive from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday in the school gym.
Donors will receive a $10 Target gift card. A photo ID is required.

MOKENA
Library to host country music concert
Mokena Public Library, 11327 W. 195th St., will host a salute to women of country music from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday.
Singer Kathleen Gilhooly will perform hit songs by country music artists such as Patsy Cline, Kitty Wells, Loretta Lynn and others.

ORLAND HILLS
Record Convention comes to town
The Record Collector’s Convention will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Georgios/Comfort Inn Banquet Center, 8800 W. 159th St., Orland Hills.
The cost is $3 for general admission and free for children age 12 and younger.

Theater to perform ‘Emperor’s New Clothes’
The Children’s Theatre Company of South Suburban College will perform “The Emperor’s New Clothes” at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday and Jan. 19 in the Kindig Performing Arts Center at the school, 15800 S. State St., South Holland. Additional weekday performances will be at 9:45 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Monday to Jan. 18.
