Gierucki graduates basic training
Air Force Airman Brittany M. Gierucki graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.
Gierucki is the daughter of Lisa and Phillip Gierucki, of Thornton. She is a 2011 graduate of Thornton Fractional South High School in Lansing.

Holloway graduates Army training
Army National Guard Pfc. Briant C. Holloway has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning in Columbus, Ga.
Holloway is the son of Patricia Holloway, of Justice. He is a 2009 graduate of Argo Community High School in Summit and earned an associate degree in 2011 from Moraine Valley Community College in Palos Hills.

Elliott graduates basic Army training
Army Pfc. Daniel M. Elliott has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson in Columbia, S.C.
Elliott is the brother of James Elliott, of Bourbonnais; and the nephew of Verna Worsham, of Calumet City. He is a 2007 graduate of Thornwood High School in South Holland.

Ferguson completes military training
Air Force Airman 1st Class Jacob L. Ferguson graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.
Ferguson is the son of Jack Ferguson, of Markham. He is a 2010 graduate of South Suburban College in South Holland.
