TINLEY PARK
Jazz Cafe
Tinley Park High School, 6111 175th St., is hosting its seventh annual Jazz Cafe at 2 p.m. Sunday.
Under the direction of Vince Aiello, the Honors Jazz Ensemble and Jazz 2 Ensemble will perform in an informal jazz club atmosphere with dancing, a light food buffet, beverages and raffle prizes. Tickets can be purchased at the door and are $12 for adults and $6 for seniors and students. Proceeds will be used for uniforms, instruments, competitions and other band functions.
HOMETOWN
Corned beef at VFW
Hometown Veterans of Foreign Wars 9773, 9092 Main St., will feature corned beef sandwiches with chips and a pickle for $7 and a corned beef and cabbage dinner with potatoes and carrots for $10 from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
Dave Majestic will sing the sounds of the Rat Pack at 5:30 p.m. Information: (708) 422-9800.
HOMEWOOD
Rally for Hunger Walk
The 2013 South Suburban CROP Hunger Walk is scheduled for April 28 in Homewood.
In preparation for the walk, a rally is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Andrew United Methodist Church, 18850 Riegel Road, Homewood.

ORLAND PARK
Bunny to visit children with special needs
Set for 9 to 11 a.m. Sunday at Orland Square, 288 Orland Square Drive, Orland Park, Caring Bunny is an event for families who have children with special needs.

NEW LENOX
West Fest
The third annual Lincoln-Way West High School craft fair, featuring more than 100 vendors, is 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the school, 21701 S. Gougar Road, New Lenox.
The Music Boosters host the spring show, which features local restaurants and entertainment by musical and theater groups from grade school to high school.

OAK FOREST
SSC literacy tutors
The Adult Volunteer Literacy Tutoring Program offers instruction in basic literacy including the development of phonetic reading skills combined with communication skills.
A training session will be noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at the South Suburban University and College Center, 16333 S. Kilbourn Ave., Oak Forest.

FLOSSMOOR
H-F Driver Education
Homewood-Flossmoor High School will open registration for its summer Driver Education School on Tuesday for students who have completed the classroom requirements and on Wednesday for students who need both the classroom and behind-the-wheel phases.

ALSIP
Social Media Summit
The Chicago Southland Convention and Visitors Bureau will host a Social Media Summit from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 21 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Chicago-Alsip, 5000 W. 127th St., Alsip.
