Fish Fry Plus: Our Lady of Loretto Women’s Guild will host Lenten Fish Fry Fridays 4 to 6:30 p.m. in the parish hall, 8925 S. Kostner, Hometown. Carry-out is available. Menu includes fish dinner for $7.50, shrimp dinner for $8.50 and pasta dinner for $6. Additional menu items are grilled cheese, homemade soup, macaroni and cheese, cheese sticks and zucchini sticks. Fish Fry: St. Benedict Church, 2339 York St., Blue Island, will host its Lenten Fish Fry Friday. Lunch hours are 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Dinner hours are 4 to 7:30 p.m. Carry-out is available. Fish Fry And Elvis: From 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, St. Louis de Montfort Parish, 8840 S. Ridgeland, Oak Lawn, will host an all-you-can-eat fish fry. Menu includes cod, whitefish, popcorn shrimp, spaghetti with marinara sauce, cole slaw, potato salad, cheese pizza for children and dessert. A cash bar will be available. An Elvis and Johnny Cash show will be presented by Joe King Grlica, the 2013 People’s Choice Award winner from the Windy City Elvis Tribute Artist Competition. Revelations: The East Gallery at the Beverly Arts Center, 2407 W. 11th St., Chicago, is hosting a juried exhibit through April 18 that explores ways in which religion is becoming less significant in post-Chrstian culture. Hoarding: The hidden world of hoarding will be explored at Lifetree Cafe at 7 p.m. March 24 at The Edge, 1366 Main St., Crete. The program, titled “Surrounded by Stuff: Understanding the Hidden World of Hoarding,” features a short film of a woman whose hoarding caused her such shame she wouldn’t let a plumber into her home to fix broken pipes. Shrines Of Ireland Trip: Authors and speakers James and Kathleen Littleton, directors of Forming Faithful Families, will lead a trip featuring the Shrines of Ireland. Walk of the Cross: The traditional Good Friday Walk of the Cross, sponsored by the New Lenox Ministerial Association, will take place at 10 a.m. March 29 at St. Jude Catholic Church, 241 W. Second Ave., New Lenox. Following a wooden cross being carried by youth from various churches, walkers will offer a hymn, hear a brief homily and say a prayer at St. Jude Church, United Methodist Church and Maplewood Cemetery, concluding with meditation at Trinity Lutheran Church at approximately noon.
