Walk Of The Cross: The traditional Good Friday Walk of the Cross, sponsored by the New Lenox Ministerial Association, will take place at 10 a.m. March 29 at St. Jude Catholic Church, 241 W. Second Ave., New Lenox. Following a wooden cross being carried by youth from various churches, walkers will offer a hymn, hear a brief homily and say a prayer at St. Jude Church, United Methodist Church and Maplewood Cemetery, concluding with meditation at Trinity Lutheran Church at approximately noon. Easter Eggstravanganza: Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, 9701 S. Melvina Ave., Oak Lawn, will host a free Easter Eggstravanganza 2 to 3 p.m. March 30.
