Crisis Center fundraiser offers more than day of wine, roses

The Crisis Center for South Suburbia Auxiliary will host “A Day of Tea, Wine, Roses ... and More!” to raise funds for the center.
The benefit will be 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 18 at Lake Katherine Nature Preserve, 7402 Lake Katherine Drive in Palos Heights.
The fundraiser will feature a plant sale, tea and cookie sampling, a raffle, music, shopping, and wine and snacks after 12 p.m.
The entry fee of $5 per person includes a free beverage and one raffle ticket. Additional raffle tickets will be available for purchase at $2 each or three tickets for $5. There is no charge to attend the plant sale only.
Vendors will provide specialty item shopping from Simply the Best, Bling, InPurseEinators, Stampin Up, Silk Originals by Linda, Dove Chocolate Discoveries, Glory Bee, Cottage Creations, Bag Lady, Angie Knitting, Serving in Style, Pickwick Society and The Missing Lynx.
