Craft Fair: St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 9300 W. 167th St., Orland Hills, hosts a fair-trade store from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday in the hall. Hundreds of handmade baskets, ornaments, toys, jewelry, teas, coffees, chocolates, musical instruments, candleholders, home decor items and more will be offered. All crafts are created by artisans from developing countries around the world and marketed by Ten Thousand Villages, one of the oldest fair-trade nonprofit organizations. Fresh-brewed fair-trade coffee, chocolates, cookies and olive oils also will be offered.
Thanksgiving Dinner: Hazel Crest Assembly Church of the Apostolic Faith, 17801 S. Cicero Ave., Country Club Hills, has its annual pre-Thanksgiving dinner to help feed the less fortunate from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday.
