Just Friends, a nonprofit vocal ensemble, is looking for a couple of good voices.
Or listening for them.
The group is holding auditions for one first soprano voice and one second soprano voice.
The candidates should have choral or small ensemble experience and should be prepared to perform a selection of their choice and one from the group’s repertoire.
Auditions will be conducted at the First Christian Church, 1045 Dixie Highway, Chicago Heights.
Just Friends, a nine-voice group of talented local musicians, is a nonprofit that works with accompaniment, providing 35- to 45-minute programs for a small contribution, according to the organization.
The ensemble, established in 2007, is able to tailor their selections to fit specific needs of any event, performing for holidays, festivals, and at corporate, private and public venues to make events memorable, the organization said.
It performs music from the 1940s through the decades.
