St. Xavier University

Several local students were named to the honorable mention list for the fall semester at St. Xavier University in Chicago’s Mount Greenwood community.

Kailey Arlen, a senior music education major from Orland Park, was named to the dean’s list at Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia for the fall 2013 semester.

Univ. of Wisconsin- Stevens Point

Kelly M, Mares, of Oak Lawn, and David J. Yff, of Orland Park, were named to the fall semester dean’s list at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.

Trevecca Nazarene University

Heather West, of Frankfort, a senior early childhood education major, was named to the fall semester dean’s list at Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tenn.

Park University

Paul Bilanzic, of Tinley Park, a sophomore business administration/finance major, was selected as a resident assistant and first-year experience mentor for the 2014-15 academic year at Park University in Parkville, Mo.

Student leaders had to demonstrate their skills and leadership abilities to university staff and faculty to be selected.

Resident assistants are the primary contact and resource for their assigned residential community, and facilitate campus involvement and serve as role models, academically and socially.
