Sullivan graduates basic training

Air National Guard Airman 1st Class Mario S. Sullivan recently graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Sullivan is the son of Michael and Brenda Sullivan, of University Park.

He is a 2005 graduate of Crete-Monee High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in 2010 from North Central College in Naperville.

McNicholas is the son of Kathy and Michael McNicholas, of Orland Park.

He is a 2011 graduate of Sandburg High School in Orland Park.
