Crete-Monee High School program to stage ‘Cinderella’

The Crete-Monee High School 2014 summer drama enrichment program will host Rodgers & Hammerstein’s “Cinderella” at 7 p.m. July 23 to 26 at the Milton Payton Performing Arts Center, 1515 W. Exchange St., Crete, according to a press release about the program.

About 100 students ages 7 to 18 will participate in the program.

Gary Thorsky is the director, Justin Williams and Tucker Arbuthnot are the set designers, Eric Rehm is the music director, Tylen Elliott is the artistic coordinator, and Katie Colletti, Kelly Colletti and Bridget DeLaurentis are the choreographers, the release said.

“Cinderella” is a Tony Award-winning Broadway musical originally written for television, the release said.

Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for senior citizens and students and are available by visiting cm201ucinderella.eventbrite.com or at the door.
