Mariano’s Fresh Market eyes Oak Lawn site

Mariano’s Fresh Market is “exploring the opportunity” to open a food store in Oak Lawn, according to company spokeswoman Vivian King.
“The mayor will have more to say about it” at Tuesday night’s village board meeting, she said, referring to Oak Lawn Mayor Dave Heilmann.
The company already has a site in mind, King said, without disclosing specifics.
A Mariano’s Fresh Market is expected to open in Frankfort on March 5.
The Frankfort store will be a 74,000-square-foot upscale grocery with an Italian coffee shop, sushi bar, bakery, a wood-fired pizza oven, prepared foods and a full-service pharmacy.
