Dale returns from deployment

Army Cpl. Melissa Dale has returned to the U.S. after being deployed overseas at a forward operating base to serve in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

Dale is a human resources specialist assigned to the 4th Airborne Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska.

She has served in the military for four and a half years.

Dale is the daughter of Dina Dale, of Richton Park. She is a 2006 graduate of Rich Central High School.

Brown graduates military training

Air Force Airman Yavonda A. Brown graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.

Brown is the daughter of Yolanda Brown-Jackson, of Glenwood. She is a 2009 graduate of Homewood-Flossmoor High School.

Duda completes basic training

Air National Guard Airman Daniel C. Duda graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.

Duda is the son of Thomas Duda, of Orland Park; and the grandson of Marge Duda, of Hickory Hills.

He is a 2008 graduate of Lockport Township High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in 2012 from Governors State University in University Park.
