Patriotic Service: Calvary Assembly of God, 18620 Governors Highway, Flossmoor, will host a patriotic service at 10:45 a.m. June 30. Greek Fest: St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church, 12307 S. Ridgeland Ave., Palos Heights, will host its annual Greek Festival 4 p.m. to midnight July 6 and noon to 11 p.m. July 7. The grills will be fired up all day and night with Greek-style seasoned chickens, marinated pork shish kebobs and of course, gyros, in addition to Greek pastries. Also, there will be children’s rides and games and Greek music and dancing. Free parking and shuttle will be available from Trinity College and Palos Courts. Theater Camp: Calvary Church, 16100 S. 104th Ave., Orland Park, will host a Spotlight Youth Theater Summer Camp for youths ages 5 to 18. World Youth Day: The archdiocese of Chicago will hold the Midwest Celebration of World Youth Day from 1 to 11 p.m. July 27 at Marian Catholic High School, 700 Ashland Ave., Chicago Heights.
