RESURRECTION PRESCHOOL OPEN HOUSE: Families interested in preschool for ages 3 or 4 can meet the teachers, visit the classroom and see the facility from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, 15050 S. “SMALL CHANGE”: CineVerse, a free film discussion group, screens this 1976 French film at 7 p.m. at the Oak View Center, 4625 W. 110th St., Oak Lawn. The event marks the return of World Cinema Wednesday. The movie was chosen by CineVerse member Dave Ries. Directed by Francois Truffaut, the dramatic comedy stars Nicole Felix, Chantal Mercier and Philippe Goldmann. Rated PG, the film runs for 1 hour and 44 minutes.
