BROKEN WINDOW: A side window was broken on a vehicle Oct. 20 in the Metra station lot in the 300 block of Church Street.

DUI ARREST: James Blommaert, 26, 12222 W. 187th St., Mokena, was charged with drunken driving and speeding after an Oct. 29 stop at Oakview Drive and Cedar Road, police said.

BATTERY: Jeremy Wilds, 25, 310 Sunset Trail, New Lenox, was charged with battery and resisting arrest after a fight Oct. 30 at his home, police said.

RETAIL THEFT: Ileea Garcia, 32, of Joliet, was charged with retail theft after she stole merchandise Oct. 30 from Wal-Mart in the 500 block of East U.S. 30, police said.

RETAIL THEFT: Ariel Ervins, 23, of Joliet, was charged with retail theft after stealing goods Oct. 30 from Wal-Mart in the 500 block of East U.S. 30, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Dania Shaar, 27, 16536 Cherry Hill, Tinley Park, was charged with driving on a suspended license and without lights after being stopped Nov. 1 at U.S. 6 and Interstate 355, police said.

RETAIL THEFT: Jessica Guzman, 18, and Alexandria Curry, 20, both of Joliet, were charged with retail theft after they allegedly stole items Nov. 1 from Wal-Mart in the 500 block of East U.S. 30, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: James Strimel, 27, 832 Stonegate Road, New Lenox, was charged with driving on a suspended license, no rear plate light and no insurance Nov. 2 after a stop at Cedar and Laraway roads, police said.

DUI CHARGE: Wyatt Manheim, 27, 25752 Gougar Road, Manhattan, was charged with drunken driving and speeding after he was stopped Nov. 2 at Nelson and Delaney roads, police said.

ROOFING SCAM: On Nov. 4, two homeowners, in the 2100 block of Digby Drive and the 3600 block of Wimborne Avenue, reported that they had given a subject down payments for roof repairs but later learned that he did not work for the company he represented and had cashed their checks.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Taylor McLemore, 19, of Lockport, was charged with driving on a suspended license and no insurance after a stop Nov. 4 at U.S. 6 and Gougar Road, police said.

DUI CASE: Adam Pate, 28, 708 E. Joliet Highway, New Lenox, was charged with drunken driving and driving with only one headlight after a Nov. 5 stop at U.S. 30 and Nelson Road, police said.

THEFT: A wallet was stolen Nov. 5 from a shopper’s purse at Jewel-Osco in the 400 block of Nelson Road.

DUI ALLEGED: James Rochon, 36, of Chicago, was charged with drunken driving, illegal transportation of alcohol and speeding Nov. 5 after a stop at U.S. 30 and Marley Road, police said.

RETAIL THEFT: Patrick Harper, 19, 19550 Trenton Way, Mokena, was charged with retail theft for stealing merchandise Nov. 6 from Wal-Mart in the 500 block of East U.S. 30, police said.

RETAIL THEFT: Danielle Bosshart, 20, 19504 S. 116th Ave., Mokena, was charged with retail theft and possession of drug equipment after she stole goods Nov. 6 from Wal-Mart in the 500 block of East U.S. 30, police said. They said that when Bosshart was arrested, police found a marijuana pipe on her.

BURGLARY: Copper piping was stolen Nov. 7 from the basement of a vacant house in the 2300 block of Palmer Ranch Drive.

HOME BURGLARY: Jewelry was stolen Nov. 7 from a home in the 1400 block of Silver Cross Boulevard.

VANDALISM: A vehicle was damaged Nov. 8 when a landscaping brick was thrown at it in the 1700 block of Edmonds Avenue.

RETAIL THEFT: Christopher Balaban, 33, of Joliet, was charged with retail theft after he took $900 worth of goods Nov. 8 from Wal-Mart in the 500 block of East U.S. 30, police said.

DUI CHARGE: Meghan Szaflarski, 25, of Chicago, was charged with drunken driving and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after a two-vehicle crash Nov. 9 at U.S. 6 and Cedar Road, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Thomas McDougall, 51, 21451 S. 79th Ave., Frankfort, was charged with driving on a suspended license and with only one headlight after a stop Nov. 9 at U.S. 30 and Interstate 80, police said.

REVOKED LICENSE: Stewart Horton, 55, 241 W. 29th Place, South Chicago Heights, was charged with driving on a revoked license and with only one headlight after he was stopped Nov. 9 at Calistoga Drive and Laraway Road, police said.

DUI ARREST: Michelle Burke, 22, of Dyer, Ind, was charged with drunken driving and speeding after a Nov. 10 stop at Francis Road and Cooper Street, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Alfred J. Estrada Jr., 50, 10841 West U.S. 30, Frankfort was charged with driving on a suspended license and improper lane use after a stop Oct. 22 at Florence and Parker roads, Frankfort Township, police said.

WARRANTS ARREST: Joseph L. Ayers, 31, of Elwood, was arrested on two warrants, one from Will County and the other from DuPage County, and was charged with possession of a hypodermic syringe Oct. 23 in the 20000 block of Hillgate Road, Frankfort Township, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Martin Oliveros, 30, 211 Cameron Ave., Lockport, was charged with driving on a suspended license and no rear plate light after an Oct. 24 stop at U.S. 30 and Wolf Road, Frankfort Township, police said.

DUI ARREST: Richard R. Muth, 50, 11420 W. 194th St., Mokena, was charged with drunken driving, screeching tires and improper lane use after he was stopped Oct. 25 at U.S. 30 and Settlers Pond Drive, Frankfort Township, police said.

VANDALISM: Three vehicles were damaged Oct. 27 at three locations when a rock or brick was thrown and broke a windshield or rear window. The incidents occurred in the 7700 block of Frankfort Square Road, the 19000 block of Mallory Drive and the 20000 block of Jonquil Lane, all in Frankfort Square.

THEFT: A hunting stand and a scouting camera that was mounted on a tree were stolen Oct. 29 from a wooded area in the 12000 block of 187th Street, New Lenox Township.

NO LICENSE: Majed Abufarash, 48, 11030 S. Moody, Chicago was cited for driving without a valid license, speeding and improper lane use after a stop Oct. 29 at Interstate 80 and U.S. 30, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Aaron L. Gallagher, 32, 17565 Gilbert Drive, Lockport, was charged with driving on a suspended license Nov. 1 after a stop in the 7200 block of West U.S. 30, Frankfort Township, police said.

VANDALISM: A vehicle was damaged with a blunt object and a tire was slashed Nov. 1 in the 7400 block of West Lakeside Drive, Frankfort Square.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Shaquille Coldman, 20, 206 Gold St., Park Forest, was charged with driving on a suspended license and no insurance after a Nov. 3 stop at U.S. 30 and Harlem Avenue, police said.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY: An elderly man told police that a Hispanic came to his door Nov. 6 in the 2000 block of Delaney Road, New Lenox Township, and talked to him about a water problem in the neighborhood. The man stayed about 10 minutes and took the homeowner into the back yard, but nothing appeared to be missing from the home.

BATTERY: Richard Cyplik, 28, 7759 W. Emerald Court, Frankfort Square, was charged with battery after a Nov. 9 altercation at his residence, police said.
