HOME BURGLARY: A television was stolen Nov. 7 from a house in the 14500 block of Hamlin Avenue.

BATTERY: James Bywater, 31, 14905 Avers St., Midlothian, was charged with battery after pushing another man Nov. 8 in the 14600 block of St. Louis Avenue, police said.

HOME BURGLARY: Three televisions and a laptop computer were stolen Nov. 8 from a house in the 14600 block of Keystone Avenue.

POT POSSESSION: Maher Yasin, 25, 6221 W. 157th St., Oak Forest, was charged with possession of marijuana and no insurance after a Nov. 13 stop in the 14700 block of Cicero Avenue, police said.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Tahrim Jihad, 49 14525 Pulaski Road, Midlothian, was charged with domestic battery after a Nov. 15 incident at his home, police said.

BOAT HEIST: A boat and trailer were stolen Nov. 16 from the yard of a house in the 14500 block of Keating Avenue.

HOME BURGLARY: A diamond ring and a handgun were stolen Nov. 17 from a house in the 14800 block of Kilpatrick Avenue.

OAK FOREST

BATTERY: Tiffany Barnes, 30, 15247 Center, Harvey, was charged with battery after a dispute with an employee over change Nov. 13 at Wendy’s, 4170 W. 167th St., police said.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Joseph Rizza, 29, 15807 Aspen Court, # 101, Oak Forest, was charged with domestic battery after a Nov. 14 incident at his home, police said.

VANDALISM: All four tires on a car were slashed Nov. 15 when it was parked outside Cindy’s Pub, 5230 159th St.

CAR BURGLARY: Diabetes medication and two syringes were stolen Nov. 16 or 17 from a car in the 400 block of 158th Street.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Sabrina Vass, 19, 15824 Peggy Lane, Apt. 4, Oak Forest, was charged with domestic battery and unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor after a Nov. 17 disturbance at her home, police said.

BATTERY: Norman McDonald, 44, 16511 Marshfield St., Markham, was charged with battery and possession of marijuana after kissing a woman who was asleep on a couch during a Nov. 17 party in the 16200 block of Grove Avenue, police said.

HOME BURGLARY: A wallet, keys and $60 cash were stolen Nov. 17 while a couple were asleep in their house in the 15000 block of Mission Avenue.

ATTEMPTED BREAK-IN: An Oak Forest couple told police they saw a man with a putty knife trying to pry open their kitchen window shortly after 4 a.m. on Nov. 18 in the 15000 block of Mission Avenue. The burglar fled when the husband yelled at him.

HOME BURGLARY: A purse was stolen Nov. 18 from a house in the 5300 block of Fawn Court.
