De La Salle 77, Glenbard West 72: Martez Cameron scored 20 points to pace De La Salle (2-2) in the seventh-place game.

Leo 67, Von Steuben 46: Darius Branch totaled 24 points to pace Leo (1-0) at Collins.

Joliet West Tournament

Plainfield North 70, Rich South 53: Denzel Kimbrough (16 points, 5 rebounds) and Myles McCoy (13 points) were at forefront for Rich South (3-1) in the championship.

Joliet West 52, Seton 45: Christopher Seaton’s game-high 14 points directed Seton (2-2) to a third-place finish.

Plainfield South 74, Thornridge 73: Darrion Robinson poured in 30 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead Thornridge (1-3) in the fifth-place game.

Tinley Park 85, Aurora Central Catholic 57: Devon Scott chalked up 20 points to steer Tinley Park (1-3) in the seventh-place game.

Lane Tech Tournament

Mount Carmel 63, Taft 58: David Nichols’ 19 points were the most for Mount Carmel (4-1).

Lemont 79, Rochelle 54: Ethan Chester put in 15 points to spark Lemont (2-2).

Lyons Tournament

Morton 71, Argo 42: Tyler Mitchell racked up 15 points to lead Argo (0-3).

Ottawa Tournament

Oak Forest 68, Yorkville 61: Tom Shute scored 26 points and Kyle Flanagan added 18 to propel Oak Forest (3-1) in the third-place tilt.

Oak Forest 59, Muchin 22: Drew Dominik had 15 points for Oak Forest in its first game of the day.

Riverside-Brookfield Tournament

Brother Rice 58, Rich Central 38: Quinn Niego (12 points) and Ray Rubio (11) led Brother Rice (2-2) to a second-place finish. Arthur Sutton had a game-best 15 points for Rich Central (1-3).

Seneca Tournament

Mendota 65, Illiana Christian 64: Brandon Galambos scored 17 points for Illiana Christian (3-1) in the title game.

WJOL Tournament

Joliet Central 57, Providence 56: Miles Boykin and Jack Brody each contributed 15 points for Providence (3-1) in the championship at the University of St. Francis.

Minooka 44, Lockport 36: Ralph Blakney scored a game-best 11 points for Lockport (2-2) in the third-place contest.

Crete-Monee 70, Romeoville 59: Tyler Williams finished with 16 points in helping Crete-Monee (2-2) place fifth.

Benet/Naperville Central Tournament

Providence 46, North Chicago 39: Alyssa Jurges netted 21 points and Maeve Garvey had nine to catapult Providence (5-1) to second place.

Hinsdale South Tournament

Hinsdale Central 58, Sandburg 55: Sam Youngwirth put in 16 points for Sandburg (3-1) in the championship.

Stagg 43, Plainfield South 32: Casey McMahon’s 13 points lifted Stagg (2-2).

Reavis 62, Joliet West 57: Ashley Galason netted 21 points to boost Reavis (2-3).

Lyons Tournament

Oak Forest 41, Gordon Tech 38: Maddie Baxa finished with a team-high 18 points to spur Oak Forest (2-3).

Tennessee Turkey Jamm

Marian Catholic 46, McEachern (Ga.) 29: Ashton Millender dropped in 20 points to pace Marian Catholic (2-1) in Murfreesboro, Tenn.

Homewood-Flossmoor 76, Capital Christian (Md.) 66: Amarah Coleman put up 20 points, five rebounds and for assists to lead Homewood-Flossmoor (3-0).

Girls Bowling

Rock Island Invitational: Lockport (5,975) won first place among the 16 scoring teams. The Porters were led by Marissa Soverino (1,302) and Nicole Troha (1,299), who finished third and fourth, respectively.

Plainfield Central Invitational: Lemont’s Kyra Udziela (1,242) finished third at Pioneer Lanes in Plainfield. Andrew (5,248) was the top area team, placing sixth.

Wrestling

Chris Hruska Classic: Danny Swan captured first place at 113 pounds in leading Oak Forest (166.50 points) to a fourth-place finish in the 20-team meet at Conant. Matt Glenn (170) was runner-up in his division for Providence (86.50), which came in 10th.

Lockport quadrangular: Brian Rossi (120) and Vincent Dietz (160) recorded three pins apiece as Lockport defeated Minooka 56-10, Mount Carmel 39-33 and Belleville West 47-20.

Sandburg quadrangular: John Pellegrino (152) and Hunter Pindel (195) each notched three pins in leading Sandburg over T.F. South 76-3, Lincoln-Way West 44-16 and downstate Washington 46-20. Joey Schloegel (120), Amier Khamis (132) and Kyle Rodriguez (145) all went 3-0 for Lincoln-Way West, which topped Washington 40-30 and T.F. South 74-6.

Romeoville quadrangular: Torian Davis won three times – twice by fall – to aid Eisenhower, which lost 48-30 to Romeoville, 40-35 to Glenbard South and 37-36 to Rich South.

Men’s Basketball

Saint Xavier Thanksgiving Classic

St. Xavier 98, Indiana-East 96: Kyle Huppe’s layup with five seconds remaining made the difference for St. Xavier (6-2). Brad Karp led the Cougars with 30 points and five steals, while Jack Krieger added 24 points.

Women’s Basketball

Siena Heights Tournament

Siena Heights 84, St. Xavier 67: Suzie Broski finished with a team-high 14 points for St. Xavier (5-3).
