GRINCH SURFACES: Someone cut the wires on outdoor Christmas lights Dec. 2 or 3 at a house in the 7700 block of 173rd Street. Also, multiple strands of his Christmas lights were cut Dec. 3 or 4 in the 19300 block of Cormoy Lane.
MARIJUANA CHARGE: Austin Naegele, 18, 17929 66th Court, Tinley Park, and Jacob Carpenter, 19, 800 Main St., Lemont, were charged with possession of marijuana after being questioned by police Dec. 4 in the 17200 block of 71st Avenue, police said.
POT POSSESSION: Yehyaal Tamimi, 20, 10901 Cardinal Lane, Frankfort, was charged with possession of marijuana after police spotted him rolling a marijuana cigar Dec. 6 while parked at Speedway, 7201 W. 183rd St., police said
MARIJUANA ARREST: Zachary Goodman, 20, 6900 176th Place, Tinley Park, was charged with possession of marijuana after being questioned by police Dec. 7 in the 18200 block of 64th Court, police said.
POT POSSESSION: Andrew Beeck, 22, 16948 Sayre Ave., Tinley Park, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug equipment after a Dec. 7 stop at 182nd Street and Harlem Avenue, police said.
THEFT: A catalytic converter was stolen Dec. 8 from a car at the Tinley Park Convention Center, 18451 Convention Center Drive.
POT POSSESSION: Ryan Butler, 23, 17544 Pecan Lane, Tinley Park, was charged with possession of marijuana after a Dec. 9 stop at Oakwood Drive and Pecan Lane, police said.
MARIJUANA CHARGE: Patrick Zalesko, 20, 8447 Rob Roy Drive, Orland Park, was charged with possession of marijuana, running a stop sign and improper lane use after police found 40 grams of the drug in his backpack during a stop Dec. 12 in the 6900 block of Centennial Drive, police said.
CAR BURGLARY: A purse containing credit cards was stolen Dec. 14 from a car at Charter Fitness, 16010 Harlem Ave. The thief then used the credit cards at a White Castle and a Walgreens in Oak Lawn and a convenience store in Worth, police said.
VANDALISM: Someone cut the wires to outdoor Christmas lights Dec. 14 or 15 at a house in the 16000 block of 76th Avenue.
