DUI ARREST: Dennis Murphy, 58, 5330 Waterbury Lane, Crestwood, was charged with drunken driving and improper lane use after a Dec. 15 stop at 171st Street and Harlem Avenue, police said.
CAR BURGLARY: A car was ransacked and prescription glasses stolen Dec. 15 or 16 in the 17200 block of 66th Court.
CAR THEFT: A 2000 Dodge Intrepid was stolen Dec. 16 or 17 from a lot in the 16300 block of Brementowne Road.
POT POSSESSION: Zachary Kambich, 27, 7943 Lakeside Drive, Tinley Park, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug equipment after a Dec. 19 stop in the 15900 block of Harlem Avenue, police said.
GASOLINE THEFT: The owner of Shell gas station, 17101 Harlem Ave., told police that someone stole 470 gallons of gasoline valued at $2,000 between Dec. 19 and 21 by paying for a small amount of gas with a gift card and then vandalizing the pump.
RETAIL THEFT: Wendy McCrave-Hardney, 45, 22031 Ridgeway Ave., Richton Park, was charged with retail theft after stealing children’s toys Dec. 20 from Super Target, 7300 W. 191st St., police said.
RETAIL THEFT: Bridget Farrell, 26, of Bloomington, Ill., was charged with retail theft and was arrested on a Grundy County warrant after stealing $56 worth of cosmetics Dec. 21 from Super Kmart, 16300 Harlem Ave., police said.
PILFERED PURSE: A purse was stolen Dec. 22 from a car parked outside the Christian Life Center, 6363 W. 183rd St.
THEFTS: Catalytic converters were stolen Dec. 23 from two cars in the 80th Avenue Metra station lot.
RETAIL THEFT: Thomas Koprowitz, 34, and Amanda Smith, 25, both of 4550 W. 103rd St., Oak Lawn, were charged with retail theft after stealing $145 worth of razor blades Dec. 23 from Walt’s Food Center, 16039 Harlem Ave., police said. They said both were also arrested on Lake County, Ind., warrants.
PROPERTY DAMAGE: Three holes were shot, possibly from a BB gun, Dec. 23 or 24 through a picture window of a home in the 18000 block of 65th Avenue.
RETAIL THEFT: Latresa Thomas, 45, 16038 Emerald Ave., Harvey, was charged with retail theft after stealing $240 worth of children’s clothing Dec. 24 from Super Target, 7500 W. 191st St., police said.
STORE BURGLARY: Someone broke into the AT&T Wireless store, 7158 W. 183rd St., and ransacked the interior Dec. 24.
SCROOGE STRIKES: A statue of baby Jesus and a manger were stolen Dec. 24 or 25 from a Nativity scene on the front lawn of a house in the 8900 block of Flamingo Lane.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Christopher Jackson, 38, 4014 Euclid Lane, Tinley Park, was charged with disorderly conduct after making a false police report about a man displaying a gun at Comfort Suites, 17355 S. 68th Court, on Dec. 28, police said.
DUI ARREST: Anthony Impallaria, 21, 15401 Walnut Road, Oak Forest, was charged with drunken driving, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, driving without a valid license and no insurance after rear-ending another car Dec. 28 at Oak Park Avenue and Brementowne Drive, police said.
