COUNTRY CLUB HILLS
BURGLARY: A hot water heater and furnace were stolen between Jan. 31 and March 11 from a vacant house in the 4200 block of 178th Street.
BURGLARY: A toolbox, saw and power drill were stolen March 10 from a job site in the 17500 block of Cypress Avenue.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Dawn Harris, 29, 19216 Elm Drive, Country Club Hills, was charged with disorderly conduct after causing a disturbance March 11 at Zenon Skyuta School, 4301 W. 180th St., after her child did not get off the school bus on time, police said.
ORDER VIOLATED: Gregory McDowell, 42, 5729 S. Washtenaw, Chicago, was charged with violating an order of protection after a March 13 incident in the 3800 block of 176th Place, police said.
POT POSSESSION: Brandon Pennington, 20, 17730 Country Club Drive, Country Club Hills, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug equipment, driving on a suspended license and improper use of registration after a March 13 stop at 167th Street and Pulaski Road, police said.
RESISTING ARREST: Arthur Gillespie, 20, 8652 Major Ave., Burbank, and Jared Steverson, 25, 4179 W. 192nd Court, Country Club Hills, were charged with resisting arrest and improper walking in a roadway after refusing to get out of the middle of the street and get into a police car March 14 at 193rd Street and Chestnut Drive, police said. They said Steverson was also charged with obstruction of justice after giving police a phony name and birth date.
BOGUS BILL: The manager at Radio Shack, 4131 W. 167th St., told police an unknown man bought a case for his phone using a counterfeit $100 bill on March 16.
VAN THEFT: A 2001 Toyota Sienna was stolen March 17 after it was left running in a driveway in the 17500 block of Willow Avenue.
