Midlothian, Oak Forest police blotter
DUI CHARGE: Kasey Smith, 26, 14428 San Francisco Ave., Posen, was charged with drunken driving, running a red light and no insurance after a March 22 stop on the southbound ramp of Interstate 57 at 147th Street, police said.
DUI ARREST: Tina Koehne, 43, 3642 W. 149th St., Midlothian, was charged with drunken driving, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle and resisting police after a stop March 26 in the 100 block of Keeler Avenue, police said.
VAN THEFT: A 2003 Ford Econoline E250 van was stolen March 26 in the 14500 block of Homan Avenue.
VANDALISM: The rear window of a car was shattered March 28 or 29 in the 14300 block of Tripp Avenue.
HOME BURGLARY: A cable TV box and a DVD players were stolen March 31 from a home in the 3200 block of 147th Street.
BURGLARY: A laptop computer was stolen April 1 from Abarrotes Calballo grocery store, 3837 W. 147th St. A large rock was used to break the front window to gain entry.
THEFT: A deer statue was stolen March 27 or 28 in the 6100 block of Heron Drive.
DOMESTIC BATTERY: William Flatley, 53, 15366 Arroyo Drive, Oak Forest, was charged with domestic battery after a March 27 incident at his home, police said.
THEFT: Someone stole a bag of potting soil, three clay pots and a bird feeder March 31 or April 1 from outside an apartment building in the 4800 block of 157th Street.
CIGAR HEIST: About $825 worth of cigars was stolen April 1 from Jewel-Osco, 5616 W. 159th St. A store security video recorded a woman sneaking behind the counter to take the cigars, police said.
THEFT: About $220 worth of DVDs were stolen April 2 from Jewel-Osco, 5615 W. 159th St.
