DUI ARREST: James Hayes, 67, of Elmwood Park, was charged with drunken driving and speeding after a stop April 11 at U.S. 30 and Interstate 80, police said.
DUI CHARGE: Brittany Miller, 25, 622 Downing St., New Lenox, was charged with drunken driving and speeding after an April 12 stop at Wildwood Drive and Haven Avenue, police said.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: James Cronin, 21, 17649 Mayher, Orland Park, was charged with driving on a suspended license, having only one headlight and no insurance after being stopped April 13 at U.S. 6 and Cedar Road, police said.
CONSTRUCTION THEFT: Construction equipment was stolen from a trailer April 13 in the 400 block of East U.S. 30.
VEHICLE BURGLARY: An iPad was stolen April 14 from a vehicle in the 2000 block of Edgeview Drive.
BAD CHECKS: Two checks, which were later determined to be fraudulent, were cashed April 16 at the New Lenox Currency Exchange in the 300 block of West U.S. 30.
BURGLARY: A window was broken and cash was stolen April 17 at Pizza Mia restaurant in the 800 block of Laraway Road.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Andrew Long, 51, 217 Central Ave., Matteson, was charged with driving on a suspended license after a stop April 2 at U.S. 30 and Harlem Avenue, Frankfort Township, police said.
PURLOINED PURSE: A purse was stolen April 3 from the kitchen of Paradise Smoothie, 19816 Harlem Ave., Frankfort Township. The owner said a man entered the shop, walked toward the bathroom and then left, and the purse was soon discovered missing, police said.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Brett Sands, 35, 11649 Brightway Drive, Mokena, was charged with driving on a suspended license and no insurance after an April 4 stop at 191st Street and 80th Avenue, Frankfort Township, police said.
DUI ARREST: Karrie A. Schuler, 40, 201 E. Woodlawn Road, New Lenox, was arrested for drunken driving, no insurance and improper lane use after she was stopped April 6 at Gougar and Laraway roads in New Lenox Township, police said.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Marcus Broadway, 35, of Crest Hill, was charged with driving on a suspended license after being stopped April 6 at U.S. 30 and 95th Avenue, police said.
TRUCK THEFT: A Ford F-250 pickup truck was stolen April 6 from the parking lot of US Auto Sales, 12816 W. Clyde Court, New Lenox Township, police said.
ENDANGERING CHILD: Jason Moshell, 34, 1421 Prairie Estate Drive, New Lenox Township, was charged with endangering the health/life of a child after an incident April 11 at his residence, police said.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Ciro Ramirez, 23, of Joliet, was charged with driving on a suspended license after a stop April 11 at Cedar Road and East Maple Street, New Lenox Township, police said.
VEHICLE BURGLARY: Cash, electronic cigarette cartridges and a handmade knife were stolen April 12 from an unlocked vehicle in the 18000 block of Jean Road, Frankfort Township, police said.
NO LICENSE: Alvaro Chavez, 39, of Joliet, was charged with driving without a valid license or valid registration and no insurance after an April 14 stop at 183rd Street and Harlem Avenue, Frankfort Township, police said.
