VANDALISM: A vehicle was scratched May 27 in the 1000 block of Grandview Drive.

WARRANT ARRESTS: Jermaine Pettigrew, 36, of Joliet, was arrested on a Will County warrant and was charged with driving on a suspended license, speeding and no insurance after a stop May 27 in the 600 block of West U.S. 30, police said. They said his passenger, Connie Barnett, of Joliet, also was arrested on a Will County warrant.

TAILGATE THEFT: A tailgate was removed from a truck May 28 in the 300 block of Rossford Lane.

RETAIL THEFT: Wesley Gibson, 22, 1125 Emerald Ave., Chicago Heights, was charged with retail theft and possession of marijuana after he stole merchandise May 29 from Wal-Mart in the 500 block of East U.S. 30, police said.

DRUG CHARGES: Kristin Letterly, 41, of Braidwood, was charged with possession and sale of a controlled substance, and Gabriel Restrepo, 39, of Chicago, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of a weapon after a drug sale May 30 at the Silver Cross Hospital parking lot, police said. They said officers saw Letterly fill a prescription at the hospital pharmacy and sell it to Restrepo in the parking lot. While arresting Restrepo, police found him with a loaded handgun.

BIKE THEFT: A child’s bicycle was stolen May 30 in the 600 block of Tanager Lane.

RETAIL THEFT: Ashley Stevenson, 18, 781 Columbia Drive, New Lenox, was charged with retail theft after she stole items May 30 from Target in the 2300 block of U.S. 30, police said.

VANDALISM: Tires were slashed on a vehicle May 31 in the 1700 block of London Road.

PAROLE VIOLATION: Scott Smith, 47, of Joliet, was arrested on a warrant for a parole violation June 1 in the 100 block of East U.S. 30, police said.

DRUG POSSESSION: Jesse Mitchell, 21, 201 E. Woodlawn Road, New Lenox, was charged with possession of heroin and drug equipment after a June 4 stop at Cedar Road and Otto Boulevard, police said.

WARRANT ARREST: Richard Eberhart, 36, of Manhattan, was arrested on a Kankakee County warrant and was charged with having expired registration and no insurance after being stopped June 4 in the 1900 block of Water Chase Drive, police said.

DUI CASE: Donna Bilson, 59, 235 E. Woodlawn Road, New Lenox, was charged with drunken driving and running a stop sign after being stopped June 5 at Joliet Highway and Wisconsin Avenue, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Nicholas Giametta, 31, of Manhattan, was charged with driving on a suspended license after he was stopped June 5 in the 100 block of American Pride Lane.

DUI ARREST: Marc Buttice, 27, 9482 Golfview, Frankfort, was charged with drunken driving after police found him June 5 passed out behind the wheel of his vehicle at a gas pump in the 1100 block of Laraway Road, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Matthew Shafer, 30, 756 Spruce, Frankfort, was charged with driving on a suspended license and driving with only one headlight after a stop June 6 at U.S. 30 and Vine Street, police said.

WARRANT ARREST: Matthew Fields, 28, 20749 Birchwood, Frankfort, was arrested on a Will County warrant and was charged with having no front license plate after a June 6 stop at Warren and Haven avenues, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Timothy Blazina, 53, of Joliet, was charged with driving on a suspended license, no insurance and no brake lights June 6 after a stop in the 1800 block of West U.S. 30, police said.

DUI CHARGE: Matthew Soja, 23, 820 Stonegate Road, New Lenox, was charged with drunken driving, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and no insurance after a June 6 accident in the parking lot at KFC in the 300 block of West U.S. 30, police said.

VEHICLE BURGLARY: A backpack was stolen June 6 from a vehicle in the 400 block of Nelson Road.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Erik Dewane, 32, of Orland Park, was charged with driving on a suspended license and suspended registration after a stop June 8 at U.S. 30 and Cedar Road, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Mark B. Wood, 48, 6934 W. 170th St., Tinley Park, was charged with driving on a suspended license and speeding after a stop May 17 at Benton Drive and Harlem Avenue in Frankfort Township, police said.

LICENSE SUSPENDED: Michael R. Malone, 51, 747 Bon Terre Road, New Lenox, was charged with driving on a suspended license and not wearing a seat belt after a stop May 20 at East Illinois Highway and Spencer Road in New Lenox Township, police said

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Jasmine Greenleaf, 24, of Calumet City, was charged with driving on a suspended license after a May 21 stop at LaGrange and St. Francis roads, Frankfort Township, police said.

DUI ARREST: Jessica L. Herman, 25, 19305 Weber Court, Mokena, was charged with drunken driving, illegal transportation of alcohol, possession of marijuana and drug equipment, improper lane use and no insurance May 22 after a stop at 191st Street and Darla Trail in Frankfort Township, police said.

BATTERY: Joseph S. Fortune, 52, 8346 West U.S. 30, Frankfort, was charged with battery after striking his neighbor in the face during an argument May 23 in the 21000 block of River Road, Frankfort Township, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Jocelyn Noriega, 22, 8001 Stonegate Drive, Tinley Park, was charged with driving on a suspended license and no insurance after being stopped May 24 at St. Francis Road and Walnut Creek Drive in Frankfort Township, police said.

VANDALISM: A pickup truck was egged May 24 in the 8000 block of Farmhouse Road, Frankfort Township.

BATTERY: Cynthia D. Scott, 32, 36 Denise Court, Matteson, was arrested for battery and driving on a suspended license after she got into a dispute May 25 with another customer at the Speedway station, 19730 Harlem Ave., Frankfort Township, police said.

HOME BURGLARY: Someone broke into a home May 26 in the 1200 block of North Vine Street, New Lenox Township, and stole a wallet off the kitchen table.

VEHICLE BURGLARY: A radio deck, two speakers and an amplifier were stolen May 30 from an unlocked vehicle in the 700 block of Cedar Road, New Lenox Township.

DUI CHARGE: Laura Zilinskas, 34, of Plainfield, was charged with drunken driving, running a stop sign and failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident after a crash May 31 at County Line Road and Illinois 52 in Frankfort Township, police said.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY: Someone tried to break into a house June 1 in the 8500 block of St. Francis Road, Frankfort Square.

BURGLARY: Two generators, a cement saw, a chainsaw and two hedge trimmers were stolen June 1 from Premium Lawn Service, 1022 Cedar Road, New Lenox Township.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Joshua Jones, 21, 19348 Trenton Way, Mokena, was charged with driving on a suspended license, no valid registration and no insurance after a June 2 stop at 191st Street and Everett Road, Frankfort Township, police said.

VEHICLE BREAK-IN: Wesley J. Newsome, 34, 11944 Stephanie Lane, Mokena, was charged with criminal trespass to a vehicle after being arrested June 3 in the 18000 block of Marjorie Parkway, Frankfort Township, police said.

VANDALISM: Some damaged a pontoon boat June 3 by placing multiple scratches on it and also stole the boat’s radio system at 88th Avenue and Monee-Manhattan Road in Frankfort Township.

VANDALISM: Recycling material from a large container was scattered all over the parking lot of Summit Hill Junior High School, two wooden pallets were stolen and a bicycle rack was damaged June 4 at the school, 7260 W. North Ave., Frankfort Township.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Ricardo Jimenez, 25, 16365 Terry Lane, Oak Forest, was charged with driving on a suspended license, no insurance and no taillights after a stop June 4 at 183rd Street and Harlem Avenue, Frankfort Township, police said.

DUI ARREST: Stephen Roti, 50, 19347 Westfield Ave., Tinley Park, was charged with drunken driving, improper lane use and driving without headlights after a June 4 stop at Harlem Avenue and St. Francis Road, police said.
