DOMESTIC BATTERY: Amy McKernin, 45, 14730 Kilpatrick Ave., 3W, was charged with domestic battery after a May 25 incident at her home, police said.

CAR BURGLARY: A purse and multiple sets of car keys were stolen May 27 from a car in the 14500 block of Kolin Avenue.

CAR BURGLARY: A cellphone was stolen May 27 from a car in the 14600 block of Harding Avenue.

DUI CHARGE: Carrie Leib, 50, 14512 Kilbourn Ave., Midlothian, was charged with drunken driving, speeding and no insurance after a stop June 5 in the 14700 block of Cicero Avenue, police said.

DUI ARREST: James Merlo III, 25, 3703 W. 153rd Place, Midlothian, was charged with drunken driving, failure to yield and speeding after a June 6 stop in the 3700 block of 153rd Place, police said.

PROPERTY DAMAGE: Dana Forgette, 31, 14916 Blaine Ave., Posen, was charged with criminal damage to property after breaking a window June 8 at the Halftime Lounge, 14640 Waverly Ave., by throwing a beer bottle at it, police said.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Timothy Barker, 22, of Bourbonnais, was charged with domestic battery after a June 8 incident in the 3700 block of 153rd Street, police said.

CAR BURGLARY: Someone stole $20 from a car June 10 in the 3900 block of 153rd Street.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Anthony Henderson, 30, 3641 W. 147th St., Midlothian, was charged with domestic battery after a June 12 incident at his home, police said.

BRAWL: Four Midlothian men and a Chicago man were charged with fighting in public after police broke up a brawl over a $30 debt June 14 at 149th Street and Central Avenue. Charged were residents David Denton, 21, 14928 Central Park Ave.; Daniel Donovan, 28, and Brandon Finet, 19, both of 14924 Central Park Ave.; Jesse Adkins, 20, 14738 Hamlin Ave., and Michael Piotrowski, 20, 2723 W. 100th St., Chicago, police said.

OAK FOREST

BIKE THEFT: A BMX-style bicycle was stolen between May 23 and 29 from the back yard of a house in the 15300 block of Lamon Avenue.

CAR BURGLARY: Two wallets were stolen May 24 from a car in the 15300 block of Boca Rio Drive.

THEFT: A catalytic converter was stolen May 26 or 27 from a car in the 15700 block of Terrace Drive.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Nery Ramirez-Amador, 27, 14609 66th Court, Oak Forest, was charged with domestic battery after a May 30 incident at his home, police said.

THEFT: A cashier at Food 4 Less, 5556 W. 159th St., told police a man was purchasing a pack of gum June 1 when he reached over the counter and stole $100 from her register before fleeing the store.

REVOKED LICENSE: Tramell Shell, 26, 15859 LeClaire Ave., C220, Oak Forest, was charged with driving on a revoked license, fleeing police, no insurance, running a stop sign and possession of marijuana after refusing to pull over June 2 and leading police on a foot chase in the 15800 block of LeClaire Avenue, police said.

HOME BURGLARIES: Two televisions, a laptop computer, a camera and jewelry were stolen June 3 during a burglary of an apartment in the 16000 block of LeClaire Avenue, and a laptop, jewelry and an iPhone were taken in a burglary the same day in the 15900 block of LeClaire Avenue.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Willie Hurst Jr., 24, 14720 Central Ave., D-119, Oak Forest, was charged with domestic battery after a June 7 incident at his home, police said.

TRESPASSING: Joseph Mikos, 58, 5120 W. Shadow Creek Drive, Oak Forest, was charged with criminal trespass and public intoxication after refusing to leave Acorn Public Library, 15624 Central Ave., on June 9, police said. They said Mikos was also charged with criminal trespass for refusing to leave McDonald’s, 5441 W. 159th St., on June 7, police said.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT: Omar Khalil, 45, 16053 Debra Drive, Oak Forest, was charged with aggravated assault after a June 10 altercation at his home, police said.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Ernie Taplin, 21, and Phillip Taplin, 24, both of 6536 S. Eberhardt, Chicago, were charged with domestic battery after attacking a family member near 160th Street and Oak while the group walked home June 15 from a pizzeria, police said. They said Ernie Taplin was also charged with resisting arrest.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Jeffrey Leonard, 49, 19658 Stonehenge Drive, Mokena, was charged with disorderly conduct after getting into a verbal dispute with his brother June 16 in the 5700 block of Victoria Drive, police said.
