A four-day rib festival will be cooking up fun at Toyota Park in Bridgeview this month.

Porky’s Rib Fest is scheduled to run Thursday through Sunday. The annual festival features live music, a massive carnival, a Saturday night fireworks show and — of course — ribs.

But a new attraction makes this year’s event even better: Mega Beer Fest, with samples of more than 75 craft beers, runs Friday and Saturday.

Rib vendors at this year’s fest include: Chicago BBQ Co., Uncle Bub’s BBQ in Westmont, Robinson’s Ribs, Famous Dave’s, Texas Thunder BBQ and Aussom Aussie Australian BBQ.

Rhythm and blues band Rare Earth is making an appearance from 9 to 10:30 p.m. Sunday.

Also on tap: Performances from Tynan, Crazy Uncles, Back Country, Screamin’ End, Brother Trouble, Brushville, Maxwell Mojo. ZZ Top tribute band Eliminator, and Rolling Stones tribute band Hot Rocks.

The fest runs 4 to 11 p.m. Thursday and Friday, 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday and noon to 11 p.m. on Sunday.
