CHICAGO HEIGHTS
THEFT: A snow blower was stolen Feb. 12 or 13 from beside a house in the first block of East Greenbriar Street.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Casey C. Gordon, 26, 1630 Ingrid Lane, Chicago Heights, was charged with driving on a suspended license, running two stop signs and not wearing a seat belt after a Feb. 13 stop at 14th Street and Donovan Drive, police said.
HOME BURGLARY: Copper pipes were discovered stolen Feb. 13 from a house in the 1500 block of Fifth Avenue.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Ernest L. Willis, 41, 1630 Fifth Ave., Chicago Heights, was charged with driving on a suspended license, no insurance and not wearing a seat belt after a stop Feb. 13 stop in the 1500 block of Portland Avenue, police said.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Jose H. Romero, 38, 1015 Emerald Ave., Chicago Heights, was charged with disorderly conduct Feb. 13 after he urinated on the floor in the lobby of the Chicago Heights police station, 1601 S. Halsted St., police said.
HOME BURGLARY: Three televisions, DVDs and CDS were discovered stolen Feb. 13 from a house in the 200 block of East 24th Street.
SHOTS FIRED: Several bullets were fired Feb. 13 into an occupied house in the 600 block of Andover Street. Nobody was hit.
SHED BURGLARY: A fence and lock were broken and equipment was discovered stolen Feb. 13 from a shed at AT&T, 1801 Euclid Ave.
GRAFFITI: Graffiti was discovered Feb. 14 on a building in the 1000 block of South Halsted Street and a building in the 1200 block of Otto Boulevard.
BURGLARY: Three vehicle radiators were discovered stolen Feb. 14 from a house in the 1300 block of Fifth Avenue.
DAMAGED DOOR: A front door was forced open and damaged Feb. 14 on a house in the 200 block of West 10th Street.
WINDOWS BROKEN: Three windows were broken on a house and two windows were broken on a vehicle Feb. 14 in the first block of West Main Street.
VEHICLE BURGLARY: CDs and paperwork were stolen Feb. 15 from a vehicle in the 1200 block of Wentworth Avenue.
DOMESTIC BATTERY: Takesha Stenson, 23, 1314 Lincoln Ave., Chicago Heights, was charged with domestic battery after a Feb. 15 altercation in the 1500 block of Lowe Avenue, police said.
RETAIL THEFT: Joseph F. Keane, 30, 1830 235th St., Steger, was charged with retail theft after stealing about $100 in baby formula Feb. 15 from Ultra Foods, 571 W. 14th St., police said.
SHOTS FIRED: Four bullet holes were discovered Feb. 15 in a house in the first block of East 13th Street.
HOME BURGLARY: Cash and car keys were stolen Feb. 15 from a house in the first block of East Manchester Street. The keys were to a 2011 Toyota Camry that was stolen later that evening from the home’s garage.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Ravey C. Stewart, 30, 2546 Commercial Ave., South Chicago Heights, was charged with driving on a suspended license and having only one headlight after a Feb. 16 stop at 14th Street and Center Avenue, police said.
STEGER
GARAGE BURGLARY: A generator was discovered stolen Feb. 16 from a garage in the first block of West 34th Street.
DRUG CHARGES: John L. Gasper, 39, of St. John, Ind., was charged with driving under the influence of drugs, possession of heroin and cocaine, driving on a suspended license, fleeing police, speeding, possession of hypodermic needles, not reducing speed to avoid an accident and improper lane use after he crashed into a tree while fleeing from police Feb. 17 near Sauk Trail and Ashland Avenue, police said.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Agustin Rivera, 36, 3100 Chicago Road, Steger, was charged with driving on a suspended license, no insurance and having a tinted license plate cover after a Feb. 17 stop in the 3100 block of Chicago Road, police said.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Janneil E. Stewart, 32, 307 W. 35th St., Steger, was charged with driving on a suspended license and having an obstructed windshield after a stop Feb. 17 at Chicago Road and 31st Street, police said.
HOME BURGLARY: Various items were stolen Feb. 19 from a house in the 3400 block of Carpenter Street.
