CHICAGO HEIGHTS

PROPERTY DAMAGE: An air conditioner unit was damaged May 19 at a house in the 200 block of West 14th Place.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: James E. Cooper, 54, 13635 Kedzie Ave., Markham, was charged with driving on a suspended license, no insurance and not wearing a seat belt after a May 18 stop in the 400 block of West 14th Street, police said.

PUBLIC INTOXICATION: Walter M. Pickens, 35, of Chicago, was charged with public intoxication, resisting arrest and obstructing justice May 19 in the first block of West 19th Street, police said.

NO LICENSE: Patrick Smith, 28, 15516 Loomis, Harvey, was charged with driving on a revoked license, no insurance, not wearing a seat belt and making threats after a May 19 incident in an apartment in the 19400 block of Glenwood Road, police said.

HOME BURGLARY: A necklace was stolen May 19 from a house in the 1600 block of Ingrid Lane.

THEFT: Lights were broken and a cast-iron fire pit was stolen May 19 from a driveway in the 1100 block of Piacenti Street.

ROBBERY: A man who was meeting others to look at a house was confronted by four men who beat him up and stole about $5,000 cash from him May 19 at Halsted Street and Independence Drive.

BROKEN DOOR: A man broke a glass door May 20 at a house in the 1600 block of Ingrid Lane.

BATTERY: Christopher L. Agee, 28, 363 N. Boston St., Chicago Heights, was charged with battery May 20 outside his home, police said.

JEEP THEFT: A 1994 Jeep Cherokee was stolen May 20 or 21 in the 300 block of West 15th Street.

BROKEN WINDOW: A rock was thrown through a window May 21 at a house in the first block of East 12th Street.

PUBLIC INTOXICATION: Elory Jones, 26, 1922 Circle Ct., Chicago Heights, was charged with public intoxication May 22 outside his home, police said.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Renee Aguilar, 44, 64 W. Hickory St., Chicago Heights, was charged with domestic battery after a May 22 altercation at her home, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Michael D. Brown, 41, 15233 Wood St., Harvey, was charged with driving on a suspended license, driving without headlights, no insurance and not wearing a seat belt after a stop May 23 at Chicago Road and Hickory Street, police said.

VEHICLE BURGLARY: A set of keys was stolen May 22 or 23 from a vehicle in the 19400 block of Peoria Street.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Marquis Nichols, 25, 468 W. 15th St., Apt. 1E, Chicago Heights, was charged with domestic battery after a May 23 incident at his home, police said.

WARRANT ARREST: Dajae Lockhart, 21, 2674 Camelot Lane, Lynwood, was arrested on a Cook County warrant and charged with trespassing May 23 at Thornwood Apartments, 19440 Glenwood Road, police said.

THEFT: A condenser was stolen May 23 from an air conditioner outside a house in the 500 block of West 16th Place.

DAMAGED DOOR: A door was broken down May 23 at a house in the 500 block of Hickory Street.

CRETE

HOME BURGLARY: Credit cards and other items were stolen May 18 from an unlocked trailer at Queen’s Estates Mobile Home Park, 1712 Dixie Highway.

BURGLARY: Torrence L. Cosby, 28, 119 E. 148th St., Harvey, was charged with burglary after he broke into J.A. Tobacco, 1004 Steger Road, and stole items on May 18, police said.

DUI ARREST: Daniel F. Birmingham, 50, 187 W. Richton Road, Steger, was charged with drunken driving, improper lane use and not yielding to an emergency vehicle after a stop May 20 in the 1500 block of Main Street, police said.

DAMAGED DOORS: Front and rear doors were discovered broken down May 21 at a house in the 800 block of East Richton Road.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Eddie Sacks, 58, 3919 Montgomery Drive, Crete, was charged with domestic battery after a May 26 incident at his home, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Danielle C. Holley, 29, 3654 Ronald Road, Crete, was charged with driving on a suspended license and not wearing a seat belt after being stopped May 26 at Steger Road and Illinois 394, police said.

POT POSSESSION: Emeric Brown, 24, 12000 Longwood Ave., Blue Island, was charged with possession of marijuana and was arrested on a Jackson County warrant May 26 in the 1700 block of Dixie Highway, police said.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Thomas S. Butler, 39, 1433 Vincennes St., Crete, was charged with domestic battery and possession of marijuana after a May 26 disturbance at his home, police said.

BROKEN WINDOW: A window was broken May 26 at a house in the 200 block of Richton Road.

NO LICENSE: Kyvon Edmondson, 20, 2017 W. 142nd St., Calumet City, was charged with driving without a valid license after a May 28 stop at Exchange and Linden streets, police said.

POT POSSESSION: Christopher Daidone, 26, of Beecher, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug equipment and driving without registration after a May 28 stop at Illinois 394 and Richton Road, police said.
