MONEE
‘Paddle to the Rhythms’
The Will County Forest Preserve District will host “Paddle to the Rhythms” at 7 p.m.
Friday at Monee Reservoir, 27341 S. Ridgeland Ave.
The Bel Canto Woodwind Trio will play classical selections as participants sit in a canoe or kayak on the waters of the lake. Afterward, participants will gather around a campfire for wine and cheese beneath the stars.
The cost is $10, and registration is required.

PALOS PARK
Flag Day concert
A free Flag Day concert will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Palos Green, 8901 W. 123rd St., Palos Park.
The Southwest Community Concert Band will present a
program of patriotic and American standard musical selections honoring the values of America as represented by the United States flag.
Participants should arrive at 6:30 p.m. and can bring lawn chairs, blankets and picnic baskets.

CHICAGO
‘Art in Bloom’ walk
The Historic Pullman Garden Club, the Pullman State Historic Site and the Historic Pullman Foundation will host the 18th annual Pullman Garden Walk, titled “Art in Bloom,” from
10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at 11141 S. Cottage Grove, Chicago.
The walk will feature private and public gardens, as well as works by painters and artists. The Garden Cafe and Boutique will be open, and a raffle and plant sale will be available.
Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door.
