BASEBALL

BASKETBALL
Flossmoor: The H-F Racquet and Fitness Club is offering basketball lessons for boys and girls ages 7 to 16. Classes are 30 minutes each and are offered from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays. Three sessions will be held: session two runs from July 9 to 18 and session three from July 30 to Aug. 8. Fee: $60. Information: (708) 799-1323.
CHEERLEADING
Glenwood: The Glenwood Cougars cheerleading/pom squads, for kids ages 5 to 14 that aren’t entering high school in the fall, will hold registration from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. July 30 and Aug. 3 at the Hickory Glen Fieldhouse, 192nd Street and Minerva, Glenwood. Glenwood: The Glenwood Cougars football program, for players ages 5 to 14 that aren’t entering high school in the fall, will hold registration from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and from 6 to 8 p.m. July 30 and Aug. 3 at the Hickory Glen Fieldhouse, 192nd Street and Minerva, Glenwood. Fee: $270 and a $50 refundable equipment charge for new players; $220 and a $50 refundable equipment charge for returning players. Crete: The second annual Crete Bulldogs golf outing is set for July 29 at Lincoln Oaks Golf Course. Registration begins at noon with a shotgun start set for 1 p.m. Fees: $100 (includes lunch and dinner) per golfer; $30 for dinner only. Proceeds will go to the Crete Bulldogs football and cheerleading program, with a goal of developing Dunlap Field.
