CHICAGO HEIGHTS

BURGLARY: Copper pipes were discovered stolen June 11 at a house in the 1500 block of Hanover Street.

THEFT: Solar lights and a statue were stolen June 12 or 13 from a yard in the 100 block of Kingston Place.

SUV THEFT: A 2001 Chevrolet Blazer was stolen June 13 from Car Hop, 207 N. Halsted St.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Robert Moralis, 42, 187 Country Club Road, Chicago Heights, was charged with domestic battery after a June 13 incident at his home, police said.

HOME BURGLARY: A pistol, jewelry and other items were stolen June 14 from a house in the 1100 block of Union Avenue.

ATTEMPTED SCAM: A man told a resident of the 400 block of West 8th Street on June 15 that he admired her front door and wanted to purchase one like it, while another man tried to enter the home through a side door but was noticed before making entry.

VEHICLE BURGLARY: A stereo and GPS unit were stolen June 15 from a vehicle at St. James Hospital, 1423 Chicago Road.

REVOKED LICENSE: Otis Lewis, 40 Apple Lane, Park Forest, was charged with driving on a revoked license after a stop June 15 at 16th and Halsted streets, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Terry Brown, 44, 1915 E. 223rd St., Sauk Village, was charged with driving on a suspended license and failure to yield after a June 15 stop in the 400 block of West 14th Street, police said.

VEHICLE BURGLARY: A phone was stolen June 16 from a vehicle in the first block of Olympic Village.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Lee Wakefield, 24, 2145 175th St., Lansing, was charged with domestic battery and possession of marijuana June 16 in the 1500 block of Otto Boulevard, police said.

HOME BURGLARY: A television, game system, jewelry and other items were stolen June 16 from a house in the 1500 block of Scott Avenue.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Cardell Alexander Jr., 29, 244 W. Elmwood Drive, Chicago Heights, was charged with driving on a suspended license and without headlights after a stop June 16 at Chicago Road and Interocean Avenue, police said.

WARRANT ARREST: Jerry Johnson, 55, no address given, was charged with obstructing justice and was arrested on a Cook County warrant June 16 at Minette and Division streets, police said.

GARAGE BURGLARY: A garage door was forced open and a bicycle was stolen June 16 in the 1200 block of Peggy Lane.

ASSAULT: Ignacio L. Franco, 51, 620 Lowe Ave., Chicago Heights, was charged with assault after a June 16 altercation at his residence, police said.

MOTORCYCLE THEFT: A 1999 Honda 100R motorcycle was stolen June 16 or 17 from the 600 block of Lowe Avenue.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Cordell Ash, 21, 87 W. 15th St., Chicago Heights, was charged with domestic battery after a June 17 incident at his home, police said.

SHOTS FIRED: Eight bullets were fired into a vacant apartment June 17 in the 400 block of West 14th Place.

DUI ARREST: Adam Alcantar, 31, 1318 Emerald Ave., Chicago Heights, was charged with drunken driving, transportation of open alcohol and running a stop sign after being stopped June 17 at 16th Street and Vincennes Avenue, police said.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY: A man broke a window and was attempting to enter a house in the 1100 block of Fifth Avenue on June 17 when he was scared off by a resident.

VEHICLE BURGLARY: Cash was stolen June 17 or 18 from a vehicle in the 500 block of Longwood Drive.

HOME BURGLARY: Two televisions, a game system and a computer were stolen June 17 or 18 from a house in the 1600 block of Ingrid Lane.

HOME BURGLARY: A game system and two DVD players were discovered stolen June 18 from an apartment in the 1900 block of Chicago Road.

CAR THEFT: A 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt was stolen June 18 from a lot in the 19400 block of Glenwood Road.

DUI ALLEGED: Jerome E. Kelly, 50, 729 Glenwood-Lansing Road, Chicago Heights, was charged with drunken driving and speeding after he was stopped June 18 at Joe Orr Road and Cottage Grove Avenue, police said.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Patrick L. Hughes, 32, 322 E. 23rd St., Chicago Heights, was charged with domestic battery and battery after a June 18 disturbance at his home, police said.

NO LICENSE: Carlos Ramirez, 22, 110 E. 24th St., Chicago Heights, was charged with driving without a valid license or insurance after a stop June 18 in the 1500 block of Arnold Street, police said.

BREAK-IN: A door was pried open June 18 at a house in the 500 block of Andover Street.

DUI CASE: Thomas Dubrzeniecki, 29, 21715 Orion Ave., Sauk Village, was charged with drunken driving, no insurance, disobeying police, illegal transportation of alcohol and improper lane use after a June 18 stop at Joe Orr Road and State Street, police said.

VEHICLE BURGLARY: A wallet was stolen June 18 or 19 from a vehicle in the 1600 block of Buena Vista Avenue.

CAR THEFT: A 2001 Buick LeSabre was stolen June 18 or 19 from the 100 block of East 24th Street.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Joseph H. Yarbrough IV, 37, of Kankakee, was charged with domestic battery, battery and violating an order of protection after a June 19 incident at 14th and Halsted streets, police said.

DRUG CHARGES: Charles A. Williams, 42, 2306 Halsted St., Chicago Heights, was charged with possession of cocaine and marijuana June 19 at 14th Street and Wentworth Avenue, police said.

NO LICENSE: Joshua Cole, 18, 1660 Euclid Ave., Chicago Heights, was charged with driving without a valid license, no insurance and driving without headlights after a stop June 19 at Joe Orr and Chicago roads, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Chardonnay Bradley, 23, 21607 Merrill St., Sauk Village, was charged with driving on a suspended license, no insurance and having only one headlight after a stop June 20 at 14th Street and Portland Avenue, police said.

BROKEN WINDOW: Two men broke a basement window June 20 at a house in the 200 block of Maple Drive and then fled after being seen by a neighbor.

COPPER CAPERS: Copper pipes were stolen June 20 from an apartment in the 1400 block of Shields Avenue and copper also was stolen the same day from a ComEd yard in the 500 block of East Joe Orr Road.

GARAGE BURGLARY: Three bicycles and a weed trimmer were discovered stolen June 20 from a garage in the 300 block of West 14th Place.

BROKEN WINDOWS: Four windows were broken June 20 or 21 at Roosevelt School, 1345 Sunnyside Ave.

BATTERY: Ignacio Franco, 51, 620 Lowe Ave., Chicago Heights, was charged with battery after a June 21 incident in the first block of East Joe Orr Road, police said.

HOME BURGLARY: A microwave, chairs, pictures and a dog cage were stolen June 21 from a house in the 1300 block of Washington Street.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: David Permenter, 27, 107 E. 34th St., Steger, was charged with domestic battery after a June 21 incident at 19th Street and Chicago Road, police said.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Eric D. Barnes, 24, 1233 Division St., Chicago Heights, was charged with domestic battery after an altercation June 21 at 14th Street and Hilltop Avenue, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Justin M. Hampton, 20, 22254 Merrill St., Sauk Village, was charged with driving on a suspended license and without headlights after a stop June 22 at 14th Street and Hilltop Avenue, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Verdell S. Warren, 23, 14132 Highlawn St., Riverdale, was charged with driving on a suspended license, no insurance and not wearing a seat belt after a June 22 stop at 14th Street and Center Avenue, police said.

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY: A man demanded money, punched a Chicago Heights man in the face and then fled empty-handed June 22 in the 140 block of Donovan Drive.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Jorge M. Velasco, 30, 16 W. 15th St., Chicago Heights, was charged with driving on a suspended license, no insurance and running a stoplight after being stopped June 22 at Main Street and Chicago Road, police said.

HOME BURGLARY: Two televisions were stolen June 22 from a house in the 500 block of Andover Street.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Ryan A. Kalinowski, 30, 1513 Union Ave., Chicago Heights, was charged with driving on a suspended license, no insurance and not wearing a seat belt after a stop June 22 at 14th Street and Center Avenue, police said.

DUI CHARGE: Karla M. Fox, 33, 217 Illinois St., Park Forest, was charged with drunken driving and transportation of open alcohol after she was stopped June 23 at 14th Street and Center Avenue, police said.

HOME BURGLARY: A television was stolen June 23 from a house in the 300 block of Beacon Boulevard.

THEFT: An electric meter was stolen June 23 from outside a house in the first block of West 16th Place.

HOME BURGLARY: Jewelry was stolen June 24 from an apartment in the 1300 block of Vincennes Avenue.

DUI CASE: Clemente Munoz-Aguilar, 51, 400 W. 15th Place, Chicago Heights, was charged with drunken driving, driving without a valid license, no insurance, driving without headlights and improper lane use after a June 24 stop at 16th and Halsted streets, police said.

ARMED ROBBERY: A Harvey man was robbed of his wallet and was punched in the face by a man wielding a handgun June 24 at Joe Orr Road and Halsted Street.

BREAK-IN: A window was broken and an apartment was ransacked June 24 in the 1100 block of Claude Court.

ARMED ROBBERY: A Calumet City woman was robbed June 25 of cash by three men, one wielding a handgun, at 12th Street and Claude Court.

POT POSSESSION: Johnny E. Gordon, 35, 1626 Ingrid Lane, Chicago Heights, was charged with possession of marijuana and trespassing June 25 in the 1200 block of Mason Court, police said.

THEFT: About 5,000 pounds of steel items were discovered stolen June 25 from the yard at Rail Exchange, 2103 Wentworth Ave.
