CHICAGO HEIGHTS
HOME BURGLARY: A television, flashlights and other items were discovered stolen July 4 from a house in the 400 block of Wallace Street.
DOMESTIC BATTERY: Gina M. Kinard, 27, 176 N. Floyd Lane, Chicago Heights, was charged with domestic battery after a July 4 incident at her home, police said.
ATTEMPTED BURGLARY: A man was seen trying to enter a rear patio door of a house in the 1300 block of Scott Avenue on July 4.
BURGLARY: Alcohol and cigarettes were stolen July 4 from Geno’s Goat Club, 1520 Halsted St. Entry was gained through a fire-damaged roof.
VEHICLE BURGLARY: A battery, exhaust pipes, speakers, amplifier and stereo were discovered stolen from a vehicle July 5 in the 200 block of Pleasant Drive.
HOME BURGLARY: A television was discovered stolen July 5 from a house in the 1600 block of Hilltop Avenue.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Lydia M. Lynk, 31, 14951 Perry St., South Holland, was charged with driving on a suspended license, no insurance and having expired registration after a stop July 5 at 7th Place and Halsted Street, police said.
HOME BURGLARY: Three televisions and a video game system were stolen July 5 from a house in the 1400 block of Emerald Avenue.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Twana Lee, 33, of Chicago, was charged with driving on a suspended license and no insurance after a July 5 stop in the 1000 block of Dixie Highway, police said.
VEHICLE BURGLARY: Tools and paperwork were stolen July 5 from a vehicle in the 500 block of West 16th Place.
ATTEMPTED ROBBERY: A man in his late 20s attempted to rob a Glenwood woman July 5 at Joe Orr Road and Halsted Street. When she screamed, the man punched her in the face and fled, police said.
BURGLARY: Aluminum pipes and other material were discovered stolen July 6 from Chicago Heights Recycling, 1715 Wentworth Ave.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Fernando Munoz, 27, 19830 Glenwood Road, Chicago Heights, was charged with driving on a suspended license, no insurance and having only one headlight after a stop July 6 at 14th Street and Chicago Road, police said.
DOMESTIC BATTERY: Joseph L. Bush, 29, of Chicago, was charged with domestic battery, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and driving without a valid license after a July 7 incident in the first block of Olympic Village, police said.
DUI CASE: Carl F. Bell, 60, 28 W. 29th St., South Chicago Heights, was charged with drunken driving and having only one headlight after being stopped July 7 at 16th Street and Chicago Road, police said.
PROPERTY DAMAGE: Darius L. Burt, 47, 299 Beacon Blvd., Chicago Heights, was charged with criminal damage to property after he broke a vehicle window July 7 outside his home, police said.
HOME BURGLARY: A computer and four televisions were stolen July 8 from a house in the 300 block of West 14th Place.
VEHICLE BURGLARY: Jewelry was stolen July 8 from a vehicle in the 100 block of East 14th Street.
ARSON: A plastic slide was set on fire July 8 at Serena Hills School, 255 Pleasant Drive.
THEFT: Patio furniture and a grill cover were stolen July 8 or 9 from a back yard in the 500 block of Lowe Avenue.
STEGER
VEHICLE BURGLARY: A MP3 player was stolen June 21 or 22 from a vehicle in the 3600 block of John Street.
REVOKED LICENSE: Frederick Edmond, 38, 343 Nassau St., Park Forest, was charged with driving on a revoked license and without insurance after a stop June 25 at 34th Street and Kings Road, police said.
POT POSSESSION: Daniel R. Venegas, 18, of Monee, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug equipment, driving on a suspended license and no rear plate light after a June 29 stop at 34th Street and Sally Drive, police said.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Portia Dyson, 21, 13107 King Drive, Apt. 2202, Riverdale, was charged with driving on a suspended license and not wearing a seat belt after being stopped June 29 at 33rd Place and Emerald Avenue, police said.
PUBLIC INTOXICATION: John P. Trotier, 30, 66 E. 34th St., Apt. 2, Steger, was charged with being an intoxicated pedestrian in the roadway and resisting arrest after a July 2 incident in the 3400 block of Union Avenue, police said.
HOME BURGLARY: A bicycle, shoes, cameras and a watch were discovered stolen July 2 from an apartment in the 3000 block of Green Street.
HOME BURGLARY: A man entered a house July 3 in the 100 block of West 34th Street, stole cash from a purse and fled upon being discovered by a resident.
VEHICLE BURGLARY: Cash was stolen July 2 or 3 from an unlocked vehicle in the 3600 block of Peoria Street.
BROKEN WINDOW: A rock was thrown through a window July 3 of a building in the first block of East 30th Place.
WARRANT ARREST: Heather Y. Williams, 30, 309 W. 35th St., Apt. 101, Steger, was arrested on a Park Forest warrant July 4 at her home, police said.
RETAIL THEFT: Ashley Heining, 21, of Crown Point, Ind., was charged with retail theft after she stole about $157 worth of goods July 7 from Kmart, 3231 Chicago Road, police said.
HOME BURGLARY: Four televisions, a computer, a home theater system, cash, jewelry and other items were discovered stolen July 8 from a house in the 3400 block of Peoria Street.
BURGLARY: Copper pipes were discovered stolen July 9 from a house in the 300 block of Royal Oak Court.
VEHICLE BURGLARY: A bag of medical equipment was stolen July 9 from a vehicle in the 3100 block of Hopkins Avenue.
