TINLEY PARK
Fest to benefit Easter Seals
The second annual Tinley Summer Fest will take place from noon to 10 p.m. Saturday at Easter Seals Metropolitan Chicago, 17300 Ozark Ave., Tinley Park.
The all-day festival will feature live entertainment, including a dance contest between Chicago’s team mascots. The event will raise funds for local Easter Seals services.

STEGER
Library to offer ‘Angry Birds’ event
Steger-South Chicago Heights Public Library, 54 E. 31st St., Steger, will host an “Angry Birds Live” program from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday.
Participants will make their favorite “Angry Birds” from yarn and launch them with a rubber band to win prizes.
Space is limited, and registration is required.

BRIDGEVIEW
Park district to host Medicare program
The Bridgeview Park District will host a free “Understanding Medicare” workshop for seniors age 65 and older from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Friday at the Bridgeview Park District Sports Complex, 8100 S. Beloit Ave.
The program will cover changes taking place in Medicare coverage and will discuss services, formulary guidelines and more. A question-and-answer session will follow.
