Mother Goose visits Crete

Mother Goose recently visited the children’s department at Crete Public Library.
Mary Jane Haley, who portrayed Mother Goose, brought costumes and puppets and transformed children into the various nursery rhyme characters as she told each story.
Stories Haley told children included “Little Miss Muffet” and “This Little Piggy Went to Market.”
Haley is a professional teacher and storyteller who has been entertaining children in the Chicago area for more than 15 years.
