BROKEN WINDOW: A storm window was broken Aug. 25 or 26 in the 200 block of West Raye Drive.
DOMESTIC BATTERY: Darrin Bell, 23, Oxford Drive, Markham, was charged with domestic battery after an Aug. 26 altercation in the first block of Olympic Village, police said.
THEFT: A cell phone was stolen Aug. 27 from a service counter at LL’s Food Mart, 107 E. U.S. 30.
RETAIL THEFT: Matthew Caddell, 29, 24 W. 15th St., Chicago Heights, was charged with retail theft for stealing beer and laundry detergent Aug. 27 from Chicago Heights Fresh Market, 1657 Chicago Road, police said.
BREAK-IN: A home was broken into Aug. 27 in the 500 block of 8th Street but nothing was taken.
PILFERED PURSE: A purse was stolen Aug. 12 from a home in the 100 block of West Joe Orr Road.
BREAK-IN: Someone broke into Tony’s Convenience Store, 352 W. 14th Pl., on Aug. 27, but nothing was stolen.
HOME BURGLARY: A suitcase, two game systems, video games, a cell phone and purse were stolen Aug. 27 from a home in the 200 block of West Hickory Street.
HOME BURGLARY: A fire box, $1,500 in cash, personal documents and prescription medications were stolen Aug. 27 from a home in the 1000 block of Union Street.
BATTERY: Shanae Willis, 29, 3040 Chicago Road, #16, was charged with battery after an Aug. 27 incident at 16th Street and Portland Avenue, police said.
VANDALISM: A car was vandalized Aug. 29 in the 400 block of Longwood Drive.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Montrelle DuBose, 43, of Gary, was charged Aug. 29 with driving on a suspended license after an Aug. 29 stop in the 1500 block of Wallace Street, police said.
RESISTING ARREST: Jerry Moore, 25, 1639 Chicago Road, Chicago Heights, was charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and criminal trespass Aug. 29 at a residence in the 1600 block of Chicago Road, police said.
REVOKED LICENSE: Jose Alva, 47, 325 E. 25th St., Chicago Heights, was charged with driving on a revoked license, no insurance and running a stop sign after an Aug. 29 stop at 22nd Street and East End Avenue, police said.
HOME BURGLARY: A television was stolen Aug. 29 from an apartment at 5 Olympic Village.
THEFT: An air conditioning unit was stolen Aug. 30 from a home in the 300 block of West 16th Street.
PROPERTY DAMAGE: Carpeting was set on fire Aug. 30 in a hallway at 3 Olympic Village.
DUI ARREST: Kevin Snell, 47, 18758 E. Salem Court, Lansing, was charged with drunken driving, no insurance and improper lane use after a stop Aug. 30 at Halsted Street and Eastgate Avenue, police said.
BROKEN WINDOW: A window was broken Aug. 30 at a home in the 1600 block of Hanover Street.
BREAK-IN: A home was broken into Aug. 31 in the 1700 block of Wentworth Avenue.
POT POSSESSION: Daniel Rivera, 19, of Park Forest, was charged Aug. 31 with possession of marijuana in the 1300 block of Mason Court, police said.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Yahleeyah Blackwell, 24, 8 Olympic Village #1C, Chicago Heights, was charged with driving on a suspended license and having a cracked windshield after being stopped Aug. 31 at 14th and Arnold streets, police said.
RETAIL THEFT: Pauline Howard, 40, 1331 Wentworth Ave., Chicago Heights, was charged with retail theft for stealing goods Aug. 31 from Dollar Store, 110 N. Halsted St., police said.
HOME BURGLARY: Televisions, a computer and jewelry were stolen Aug. 31 from a home in the 300 block of West 16th Place.
SUV THEFT: A 2003 Toyota Highlander was stolen Aug. 31 from the parking lot at Bloom Alternative School, 100 W. 10th St.
