Here is a look at top events you won’t want to miss.

‘Avenue Q’

Moraine Valley Community College, 9000 W. College Parkway, Palos Hills, presents this show Nov. 1-4.

‘Chicago Live!’

This live stage show, which will be recorded for WGN-AM (720), takes place Nov. 1 at Governors State University’s Center for Performing Arts, off University Parkway east of Governors Highway, University Park.

Weekend

Nov. 2’s Weekend magazine features Lincoln-Way High School District 210’s 2012-13 entertainment season.

There are also features on Dolton native Jane Lynch about “Wreck-It Ralph,” the movie “Chasing Mavericks,” Southlanders on “Family Feud” and Apostle Christian Theatre’s “Don’t Kick the Turkeys.”
