Zion Lutheran School in Beecher recently hosted its third annual Dinner Auction at Serbian Hall in Lansing.
This year’s theme was “Lights, Camera, Auction!” and featured auction items such as dining party packages, gift cards, gift baskets, baseball tickets and an iPad. Proceeds from the dinner went to the school and its church.
Each of Zion’s homeroom classes completed a project to be auctioned at the dinner.
“The kindergarten class used paint with their thumbprints to decorate a child’s picnic table with sunflowers for the live auction,” kindergarten teacher Carolyn Cooper said. “It was so much fun, and the children were happy to be able to contribute in supporting the mission of Zion.”
