Memorial Lights: The Crete Park District will host its annual Memorial Lights Ceremony at 5:30 p.m. Sunday at the Willard Wood Center, 515 First St., Crete. Food for Fines: Crete Public Library, 1177 N. Main St., is hosting a Food for Fines program through Dec. 15. The library will forgive 50 cents of a patron’s fine for each small, nonperishable food item donated, and $1 for large items. Charges for lost or damaged items and collection agency fees cannot be waived, and only fines on items checked out at the Crete Public Library can be waived.
