Monee man dies in crash

A 23-year-old Monee man died in a car crash Saturday in Washington Township.
According to the Will County coroner’s office, Dustin R. Johns was pronounced dead at 10:25 a.m. Saturday on Ashland Avenue, three quarters of a mile south of Offner Road.
Preliminary autopsy results show that Johns left the roadway and died of multiple injuries.
The final cause of death will be determined pending police toxicology results, according to the corner’s office. Hack Funeral Home in Beecher will be handling the arrangements.
