CHICAGO HEIGHTS
BURGLARY: Copper piping was stolen from a vacant house in the 1900 block of Circle Court between Oct. 25 and Dec. 5.
VAN THEFT: A 2003 Chevrolet Venture, five temporary license plates and two sets of Volkswagen car keys were stolen Dec. 2 or 3 from GI Motors, 1922 Chicago Road.
ASSAULT: Paris Pippin, 38, 607 Mackinaw Ave., Calumet City, was charged with assault after threatening another woman with a sharp-edged instrument Dec. 3 in the 400 block of West 14th Place, police said.
WINDOW SMASHED: Elizabeth Mitchell, 19, 46 W. 15th St., Chicago Heights, was charged with criminal damage to property after shattering the rear window of a car during a Dec. 3 domestic dispute in the 200 block of West 14th Place, police said.
BATTERY: Darnell Willis 44, 1630 5th Ave., Chicago Heights, was charged with battery after a Dec. 4 disturbance at a store in the 200 block of East 16th Street, police said.
DOMESTIC BATTERY: Andrew Menzie, 48, 571 Minette Lane, Chicago Heights, was charged with domestic battery after a Dec. 5 incident at his home, police said.
HOME BURGLARY: A flat-screen television, laptop computer and video game unit were stole Dec. 5 from a home in the 500 block of Saratoga Drive.
CAR THEFT: A Chicago Heights woman told police someone stole her 1985 Oldsmobile Regency from outside the Olympic Village apartments on Dec. 5 or 6.
BURGLARY: Someone stole $115 worth of new toys Dec. 6 from a storage locker at the Olympic Village apartments.
HOME BURGLARY: $2,000 cash, several electronics items and several purses were taken Dec. 6 or 7 during a burglary of a house in the 500 block of Shelly Lane.
BURGLARY: Two lawn mowers, a gas tank, an air compressor and miscellaneous tools were stolen between Dec. 6 and 8 from a yard and garage in the 2000 block of Euclid Avenue.
HOME BURGLARY: A Chicago Heights woman told police someone broke into her home Dec. 7 in the first block of Hickory Street and stole a flat-screen television, a $1,000 necklace and $1,000 in cash.
THEFT: Three ComEd meters, three power lines and three electrical boxes were stolen from residences in the 1400 block of Shields Avenue on Dec. 7 or 8.
HOME BURGLARY: A pistol and a watch were stolen Dec. 7 or 8 from a home in the 200 block of 15th Place.
TRESPASSING: Ricky Sales, 48, 747 Grant, 3C, Chicago Heights, was charged with criminal trespass after causing a disturbance Dec. 8 at ZZ’s Food & Liquor, 107 E. 14th St., police said.
BURGLARY: A lawn mower and tools were stolen Dec. 9 from a garage in the 200 block of West 15th Street.
