Here is a look at what Southlanders are accomplishing in college.
News from the SouthtownStar’s East region includes Crete, Matteson, Harvey and Steger.
Lewis University
Gregory Rossback, of Crete, played the character Boris in the theater production “The Quick-Change Room” at Lewis University in Romeoville.
St. Xavier University
Darryl Brown Jr., of Matteson, received a Student Laureate Award from the Lincoln Academy of Illinois in honor of his extraordinary curricular and extracurricular achievements. Brown is a senior at St. Xavier University in Chicago.
Oklahoma Baptist University
DeAngelo M. McIntosh, of Harvey, received a bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, Okla.
University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee
James Michael Lundstrom, of Crete, received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Bethany Lutheran College
Austin Wood, of Steger, was accepted for admission at Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato, Minn. Wood is a senior at Illinois Lutheran High School in Crete.
