Szromba graduates basic training
Air Force Reserve Airman Brandon F. Szromba graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.
Szromba is the son of Frederick and Deborah Szromba, of Beecher. He is a 2008 graduate of Beecher High School and earned an associate degree in 2010 from Prairie State University in Chicago Heights.

Werner returns home
Sgt. Joshua Werner, of Oak Forest, has returned safely from a nine-month deployment to Afghanistan.
Werner is assigned to the 4th Infantry Division out of Fort Carson, Colo., where he serves as team leader for a reconnaissance scout platoon.
Werner is the son of Mark and Kelly Werner, of Oak Forest. He is a 2004 graduate of Oak Forest High School

Fraider completes military training
Air Force Airman Brianna L. Fraider graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.
Fraider is the daughter of Ronald Fraider Jr., of Oak Forest; and Laura Fraider, of Frankfort. She is a 2009 graduate of Oak Forest High School.
